I agree but you will need to get a thermometer judging water temp by touch is inaccurate.If you go to your lfs you should be able to find one cheap.

Well the silver dollars are schooling fish so at least 6 is recomended and they wont be able to stay in there for very long.So u should upgrade them or rehome them.

Most useful was when I mad a the change to canister filters and most satisfying would be my oscar or bichir.

I know its not what you want to here but some should tell you.I think you should rehome your goldie untin u have and upgraded tank he will probably outgrow your tank bytime your finished cycling it.If you get rid of him you can have a nice planted tank with some shimp and your wcmm's.

The gulper catfish and Frogmouth catfish were my 2 fav on the list never kept either one but I am really thinking about setting up a tank for a gulper.Although I have never seen on for sale before I have read they can be pretty expensive but think it would be totally worth it for such a cool fish.

An oscar and a syno the tank may look a little boring but the personalitys of the fish will more than make up for it.

I have never used that brand before but i think that would be enough filtration for sure.
