I give him 3 or 4 pellets a day. He must have dropped the container of food into the tank. I have globs of pellets surrounded with slime all over the tank. My 2 shrimp are dead and turbo snail is done too. I think I will have to take it apart to get all the dead stuff out......uuuugh.

So, my tank sitter overfed my one damsel. I get home from a 4day vacation and everything in my tank is shriveled and looking poor. Ammonia is at 4.0, nitrites are 2.0 nitrates are 40. Im going to vac the tank and do a water change but I believe its too late....no more trips for me.

I have been injecting them for hours! Bet theres over 100 easy. Can not believe how fast they moved all over the tank. Thankfully I am getting them before I put the rock work permanently in place.

There is one rock covered in them, do you think boiling this rock will kill them all?

So set up a new (used) bio cube 2 Weeks ago. Live sand and about 10 # of live rock. I was counting the aptasia (lol) and noticed this tiny guy slowly moving across the rock. What is it??

Pepermint shrimp rocks! Problem gone! Water has been stable for weeks now and I added 2 zoo frags and a ricordea. Looking for mushrooms but selection is sad in my area!

Hi guys. Pardon my newness! I set up a tank Sunday. New bag sand, live rock and water from local lfs. Woke up this morni.g to a tank full of aphasia. Salesman giggled at me when I called. Question is, will peppermint shrimp harm zoos when I add them? Whole point of this tank was a zoo garden.
