I really think there easy to look after, Neeko became ill not too long ago as he had gas:eek: he had been gulping more air then he should so when I went to feed him he was at the top of the tank trapped between the filter and tank on his side. I thought he was dead:confused: but anyway a couple...

So just keep to plastic ones, I have a root ornament already and a jade stone so might jst leave it as it is then :)

I deleted my comment as I felt like I was a bad person. I will have to rehome a few of my smaller ones that I dont like as much and keep 3-4.

Sorry its a 260L , I already have my fancies and had them for a long time in a smaller tank :hide: there all smallish apart from my fantail. I dont really want to get rid of any as I have become rather attached.

Its a Juwel 180L.;) I will be adding 7 fancies (one large) into this tank. Thanks.

I am putting in my facies, just what decoration and background to use..I have just gone blank.:whistle: I fancy lots of plants but one of my fantail is big so want as much space for it to swim around in. Just bought some artificial plants for at the front and thought of buying real tall ones...

I have just bought a juwel bow tank for my fancies and just wanted to know should I get a algae eater and if so what type? I have only had a loach before and that jumped out of the tank at work and killed itself. Thanks

Everyones ponds are lovely. I have a small patio pond at the moment but it is only temp till my hubby builds a slighly bigger one. The new one is underway and again its a raised one as we have a blind dog and she will just fall in ground ones.

Thank you, well here in the uk its doesnt get as hot as over there but mine are in the coolest room in the house and its fine for them.

I love handfeeding mine, it always makes me jump when they grab there food lol At the moment there in a 3ft tank with sand (cant have pebbles as they suck in there food and the gravel too) with just two ornaments as they walk along the bottom they need floor space, but they like to hide in...

They are as easy as keeping coldwater fish, mine eat live and frozen bloodworms, earth worms and raw meats eg liver , heart. I have just sold some young ones that I bred from being eggs.:D
