They fall off pretty easy if you set them over a bucket for a while there most likely to fall off. The zoas will close up and be fine or just hold it upside down till they should fall off

Do you have corals? If so when they start to turn white or shrivel up to much if they stretch or turn brown not enough. If you slowly turn them up a lil each week they will adjust. Start new corals low in the tank then slowly move them up.

IMO yes their great hunters always looking for pest. You might lose a couple snails or hermits but reef safe with corals. I have on and there very good at eating like pigs. Your tank looks long enough with nice rocks to swim thru.
