I purchased some micro sword, apparently they are a Mystery snail delicacy but that's off topic :-) . . . my question how do I get them to spread out? I have lots of "tendrils" coming off of them (pics below), am I supposed to do something with those? Advice?

10g planted tank with1 Mystery snail, 4 nerites & have found pond snail hitchers. The mystery snail has never laid eggs.

Came home today & one of my 10g tanks had about 2" of water left in it!! Glad I don't have a lot of fish in it & REALLY glad it wasn't my 46g!

I know lots of people don't like these guys but c'mon look at that face . . . That's his cave, no matter where I move it he goes with it!

Well apparently the blue mystery snail in one of 10g tanks is a female because I have now cleaned eggs out 3 times in the last 2 wks. She's been in there about 2-3 months with no other mystery snail & just started laying eggs. Hmmmm.

I just keep adding plants, I think I'm on the verge of being considered heavily planted . . .

Currently I have a Mystery snail in each of my 5 tanks & would like to add 1 - 2 nerrite snails to each tank. Anyone have experience with this? Have there been any problems? Do they tend to leave each other alone?

So, today I decided to rinse out my canister filter media for the 1st time since I set it up two weeks ago. A week ago I switched from an HOB to a canister filter & ever since my water temp has dropped 3-4 degrees. I've moved the heater in relation to the output but no change. I've upped the temp on the heater & it's slowly going up but I'm wondering if I need a bigger heater or need to re-arrange...
