Hi, my tank recently got a lot of small black snails. What type of fish will eat them all?

My fish recently got a type of disease; The body near the tail will becomes whitish. Like the skin was torn. This whitish will slowly spread to it's whole body. Worst, the fish is dying one by one. And the starting symptom always start at the body near the tail. Please help.
