My trumpet coral is looking sick, photo attached. It is not really growing, it was starting to split when I got it and has maintained the same look since. Recently it got really thin on top and looks like "bones" are sticking out the top. Is it too much light? I've got it near the top of my tank.

Today I spotted a multi-legged hairy intruder poking his claws out of a rock during feeding, I didn't get a look at the whole animal, but it had a pointed claw on its legs like my emerald crab. Anyone got a clue what it is?? Is it bad for reef tank?

I glued a frag on a piece of LR and one of my peppermint shrimp got into it before it dried and glued his claws together. Should I worry? Try to help him get them apart? Will it just wear off and be okay?

I'm thinking about putting a sump on my 29 gal reef tank, is it necessary? What size sump would I need? I was thinking about a 10 or 15 gallon.

Anyone know what these round reddish brown discs are growing on my live sand? About a 30 day old tank setup, cycle pretty well done, nitrites coming down .25, nitrates going up 40 ppm. I'm new to this and just trying to make sure I catch problems before they get out of control.
