My angelfish keeps staying at the bottom of the tank sometime lying on the side and is breathing VERY heavily and squirming however the other 2 angelfish and 3 tetra are perfectly fine??.

I want some sand for substrate and I was wondering if I got normal sand from the beach say and washed it thoroughly would that be acceptable for a freshwater tank substrate...

Was really proud of the set up I have just done and wanted to show people. I bought some underwater plant soil and fertiliser and put my amazon sword plants into pots with the soil it made an interesting spin to my tank that my fish seem to love exploring.

Is water conditioner the same as chlorine control. I have almost ran out and the shop that I normally buy everything from has closed down :/ so I was looking for a chlorine control but could only find water conditioner.
