    A girls new tank

Your local crays are not most likely not the same as the ones we have here where I live but.... Ours are "Signal" crays, I`ve kept them for up to 6 months or so...they will eat fish, and they can catch them at night..Neons got ate one at a time, any fish that "sleeps" near bottom is prey, they...

    New fish tank!

75g vs 55g....lot more room for growth with the 75g. More water = easier management with the same load. The floor space it takes is not much different, 6" more out from the wall its against, vs a 55g "tall" tank. IMO the 55g tall is not great for larger fish..anything over 4" long will be...

    What are these?

Looks like a baby sunfish...Bluegill seems to be the consensus. I used wild caught feral/introduced Pumpkin Seed Sunfish for feeders for Oscars and other large pred. fish long ago.(they where dumped into a local lake by a breeder trying to introduce them as aquarium fish in the 1970s..they bred...

New community tank, shrimp and fish

My last old Oscar finally died, he was one of a pair I bought when they where about 11/2" long. I was left with a very well "cycled" 55 gal. tank with an over kill filter, (Fluval 304) and lots of rather expensive but algae covered plastic/fabric plants. I wanted a community tank but...
