do you guys think a coral dip would work for these two lps' s? bought a coral dip-bylut have never used these things.also thinking of fragging the hammer and then placing them some space apart?

salanity was low, 1, 022 mixed some salt now will test it in a bit just need to give time to cycle

what all do you want we only have 5 tests nitrate phosphate kh calcium ph, let me know what else I would need to test for and I will get the test.

negative unfortunately. been using sera for quite some time.have no idea what could be causing the hammer to not do well, and lost the lawnmower and goldenback.really weird . everything else looking good.took this photo today

sera salt and test kits.went over from red sea salt to sera, much of a muchness red sea just super expensive

jip true dont know what would have caused it though. as we did water change the membranes opened very big as if they just absorbed all the new nutrients. I waited about an hour or so before I tested.

jip we put it in a bucket with a powerhead and wait till its dissolved properly before we add to tank

ok did water change, parameters now: PO4 : 0, 25 mg/L KH: 3ºdKH NO3: 0mg/L PH: 9 CA: 300 mg/L just cannot get the Calcium and KH up, do you still suggest we dont put any buffers in? put 1 teaspoon of seachem reef calcium in when we mixed the salt?

just not sure what through their ngs a bit haywire.corals are obviously absorbing the calcium.can I keep the phosguard with carbon in at the bottom to assist with the phosphates? how else do you keep phosphates under control?

only started dosing the last week or so as our weekly water change is not helping to get things back to normal.

we have also put in 2 new lights, one white and one blue, will put the other two in at later stage cant change all 4 at one.still no difference

hi guys, we do religiously do a weekly water change, hammer still not open.it looks like there are new little heads growing, could this also causr it to close as it's maybe usinf the available nutrients for the new heads? will post a pick in few minutes. really dont want thid hammer to die

water change is due tomorrow so will test again in 2days hammer just not looking good this week and dont want to loose it
