I've decided I'm not overly fond of my current aquascape and want to redo it but being that it is an established tank with fish and corals not sure on how to do it. So any tips or helpful info would be most appreciated
Hey guys sorry once more to be a hijack of the thread, but I live in Australia and taotronics don't seem to ship here but there seems to be others that I think are the same but I'm not sure, if anyone who knows these lights and can check out the Australian eBay site (www.ebay.com.au) and...
Tank is going fantastic definitely consider myself hooked. Here are a few pics. Also my coralline growth on my rocks has just exploded and is slow starting to take to my back glass which I'm excited about
Interested on this as well as I'm thinking of doing 2 smaller changes (one midweek the other on the weekend) that would equal the same amount I do in one large water change.
Have you considered doing it the same way grumpyfish?
Tank looks great really do like the cube/column look. For m something that jumps straight out would be a bubble tip anemone with a black and white occ clown and a standard occ clown hosting it in the dead centre of the tank to me that would be awesome, but what effect are you going for?
Power heads or wave makers I'm a little confused by it all not 100% on the difference or if I should just go straight for a wave maker or get a power head that is wave maker compatible for down the line
So currently in the process of cycling and going through the frustration of the waiting game haha once it all settles should I add fish or corals first?
That makes sense I'm pretty sure I will be turning it into a refugium eventually but the sump came full of bio balls in the middle section so thought I'd check if it would be detrimental. Thanks I'm really happy with the scape I'm hoping the way I've done it gives me lots of places for corals
