    mp40 vs wp40

Love my wp40! It does great in a 220 and has been solid for me for 7 months

    Rainbow rbta

Unless you have a well established tank with good lighting there's little chance you can keep an anemone for the long term.

    New anemone!

Blurry but best I could get

Help me build a budget 40g breeder!

Either a protien skimmer or maybe some macro algae to handle nutrient export.

    New anemone!

Thought I'd share my new rbta on here, got it from a local reefer and just got a pair of tr ocellaris babies to host it.

    RO/DI System

The more gpd only tells you how much clean water your unit can make in a day, I don't believe it says anything on the ratio of waste to clean water. +1 to aquasafecanada even though my unit is around 6 years old

    6 foot marine possibly?

If you go with that predator tank, I would avoid a trigger and lion. Many types of triggers will take out a lion if housed together for an extended period of time

    Protein skimmer

I love my aqua-c remora hob

    Snails

Yea nassarius snails love dead things. Just watched a show where an army of them raced up to the beach to eat a dead fish, was disturbing to see snails attack a carcass

    Clam killed my clownfish

That's insane! Would I be weird if I was hoping to see a pic?

    10 gallon reef

IMO you're setting yourself up for failure. 10 gallon is hard enough (unless you're doing plenty of WCs) for someone with experience let alone someone just jumping into it. Best thing I can tell you is research as much as your brain can handle. A short list of things to know about would be...

    Help Me: Refugium Lighting

Yea I use a $10 led screw in bulb from lowes. Works out cheaper than buying bulbs for any other fixture

    Tim's 54 Gallon Corner -> Going Reef

I made a sump out of a 10 gallon (knocked out one of the front boards) and used a aqua C remora on the back of my 54 corner. Worked great for me, was always pulling nasty gunk out of my tank

dealing with an over aggressive fish

Set up has a lot to do with it. Your chances of keeping both fish in a 6ft tank would be much better than a 56 round. With their similar body shapes, I doubt they'll get along. Best bet is to establish the goby in the tank then add the dotty.

dealing with an over aggressive fish

As with most aquarium advice, info about the set-up is helpful. Size of tank, how much LR, other inhabitants. Seems you've got the right idea though, maybe even keep the pseudo out of the tank for some time and let the goby make a burrow and get comfortable

    Am i stocked

    I would suggest a foxface

    Hazy Water

More info would be helpful, how are your filters set up (sump?), how long has it been running, how do you do your WCs, substrate, things like that.

    Ph

Very well could be because your lights can affect ph. I run the lights in my sump opposite the lights on my dt for this reason.

    Rapidled.com

I've used the marineland double bright on my fowlr and its a warm white led look, gives a yellowish color to the tank. Don't know wattage though

The phrase 'just getting into saltwater' and corals (especially sps and many lps) usually don't go well together. My advice would be to research coral care while your tank matures. Let your sand and rock settle in and that will help keep your parameters stable, and when cyber Monday rolls around...

I built a 36 led unit after their Black Friday sale. With a good controller there's a lot you can do to customize the lights to your liking. What are the dimensions of your tank?
