No, I do not paint, nor would I suggest painting the center brace, or the top of the trim. The center brace should be concealed by a light or tank hood and already black. I can't say I've ever seen a center brace done up to match the trim.... You don't want the paint to come into contact with...

I used Krylon Fusion Satin Black, to paint 3 tanks in the last 2 weeks. The trim as well as the back. No need to waste so much tape masking off any areas you dont want painted as this paint will come right off with a razor blade. I used 2 strips of 2 inch masking tape under the trim and still...

Thanks for your suggestions :) But he is not showing signs of fin/tail rot. They look normal and healthy. There is no white spots, and what would appear to be fraying, is actually how his fins/tail naturally are. The only spot is on his head next to his eye. It's not hairy or fuzzy, just looks...

So I have this gorgeous Clown Pleco. Kenbob gave me as a gift a few days ago. I am suspicious it hasn't been eating, and seems to have this white spot on it's head that I hadn't noticed before... It doesn't look like ich though. I've tried fresh zuccini, tetra algae wafers, bottom feeder tabs...
