    live rock rubble vs crushed coral

    sorry for the ignorance, but what is the difference. could i use crushed coral in my wet dry? i would imagine it would have to be cured, but once it is cured and holds bacteria, could it then be considered live rock rubble?

    nitrates between 10-20

    can't seem to get them any lower. what is the best method? i have been doing weekly water changes at 20%. should i do them more often. i am using a whisper 60 on a 35 gallon tank. are there any additives that will take down nitrates? thanks
