Ya it can be
It can fade many different colors and make your nice pretty coral turn into a dull ugly coral
It's not like this with all corals
But you will just have to research what colors are fine with uv light
If you only have zoas/polyps you should have your lights brighter then 40%
I have my lights over my biocube
I have my main lights on from 8am to 8pm
Lunar cycle on from 12am to 6am
Lights are set to
White50%
Green15%
Violet15%
Red15%
Dark blue60%
Royal blue60%
Uv15%

i have two 23 inch panels that connect to each other and a control box.
they are the best leds iv ever owned in the 3 years iv been in the hobby.
they are all 3w leds and are supper bright when you turn them up to 100% power.
all of my corals have shown great growth and coloration under these...
for some reason it wont let me post any pictures because it says i exceed the space.
iv made the pictures smaller and everything and it still wont let me post them.
is there a way i cant delete pictures iv put in previous posts?
As long as it is in an area with good flow,and intense lighting it will grow like a weed
I got it as a frag and it was about a 1in.x1in. Piece and 6 months later it's the size of a volleyball
And it helps if you spot feed it at night
1st are nuclear green polyps
2nd are lunar eclipse polyps with some hitchhikers in which I haven't found out what they are lol
3rd are sunny d zoas(rather expensive lol)
And Sunday I'll be picking up some rasta zoas from my buddy
