Honestly if you want one fish in there thatll get big do a tiger oscar. Ive always had the best luck with them and there extremly intelligent and sweet. But you wouldnt really be able to do much more, maybe a sengal bichir Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

I have africans so they are not brackish. Mine have always been in freshwater no problems

I am getting a 55 gallon tank in a month and a half and i was going to stock it with these My 2 mudskippers Vixen and Charles 6 Cory cats Possibly another mudskipper I like oddball fish alot. Anything that could go into a 30/40 gallon sonce i need room for air and docks
