This is my diy 10 gallon tank (24x8x12) I just added water and sand . It has a in tank sump that May have refugium in it not sure yet. I will get a nano skimmer and a couple other filtration in the future this will be a reef ! Soon.

They're are really cool fish I had one in a 15 gallon for 5 months with clowns and shrimp (no problems) just they do jump that's how mine died.. They are awesome fish and are really social. I walk up to the tank and he'd swim right up too me. I've never had any problems with him and coral either

Ingy I'm looking for that rare one my scooter blenny is stealing brine from other fish he gobles it right up

But my question is if the lfs gets a mandarin that eats everything could I have the mandarin and the scooter blenny together

So I bought a scooter blenny at the store receintly they said he was eating everything so I got him home and what do you know he eats everything!! I have a 15 gallon with no pods and he is staying fat! Now for some corals!

It's not really going to be a grow tank just ill frag some from my 72 and put them in the 15. And should I mix the sand so it'll be 1/2 black 1/2 white

What color sand black or white? Or both? I'm going to use 10 lbs of the live aragonite at most lfs

Yeah the only thing I've noticed is his eye is a little hazy and the scales on top are a little bit missing..

It helps the immune system fight off ich. I had a angel full of ich for 2 days then we fed with garlic and the next day it was almost gone..

I don't know? Lol I feed 2 tanks usually and they both have a lot of fish so i never have that problem..

I just get the McCormick garlic powder and I just sprinkle it in ( no certain amount)

I have a designated cup that I've never washed with soap for 1 year and I scoop up some tank water put in a cube add some garlic powder and coral food. Take a shower or leave it there 10-15 minutes stir it up then feed it to my fish and there is usually no waste

I'm making a custom 15 gallon frag tank (18x15x9 about 8 inch of water ) I'm going to do like an in tank sump like the fluval spec has. In the sump it will have lr and ls , protein skimmer, and filter floss changed weekly. Is there anything else I'd need? For stocking I live in the FL keys so...

Algae (lawn mower blenny) mines awesome but only eats off lr no brine or flakes... Or even seaweed strips

Ya just make sure you do a wet sand NOT DRY we had to do it to a 110 gallon and we did one section it looked awesome then we buffed it and it got even worse .. How big of a tank? If there's not much room in it to move around I'd look on Craigslist for a complete glass setup and add your fish...

You have to use sand paper from I think 1200 grit up to like 4000-5000 not completely sure then buff it

Get the Pygmy angel, he is awesome but can sometimes be a jerk to my maroon clown

Is it on your 36 bowfront? You can try there isn't that much it will do. Maybe lower the nitrates a little it won't house enough pods for mandarin unless you have a ton of live rock
