I am getting ready to build an out door pond . What I was wanting to know is can I use a liner from a swimming pool ? My brother has a inground pool , he had to put a new liner in , (the top edge tore ) so I have a huge liner and could build a huge pond :lol: Would this work ?

Ok ' I have a 180 gal. tank ,about 15 pds. of LR and 60 pds. of base rock, I only have about 1 inch of sand bed is this ok for a fish only tank , or should I have a deep sand bed ? ( by the way what is the dif. between DSB and only 1 inch of sand , pros and cons ) I plan on later down the road...

How often does eveybody clean the filter pad that sets on top of your wet/dry filter ,or change it ?
