Hi guys can anyone help I have some platys and one of them seems to be going white from red does anyone know what this may be because the fish seems in good health no change in its behavior
I wasn't trying to be horrible with that comment but I read an article silimer if not the same. All knowledge is needed weather accurate or not it's all part of learning so don't hesitate or hold back to post ur views or opinions its all still good advice :) any help better than no help right!

Aqualibrium salt I think u find is exactly what I put. As I use this my self and has found it does exactly what it says. I'm not sure of other salts just my knowledge on the experience I have so if u can explain further in detail would be great I love to learn. Didn't know treatment for cold n...
It's most likely to be the stress of adding a new fish. Does sound like a case of white spot so just try what I put n I'm sure ur will find ur Greg will be fine :)
What the salt do? I add aquarium salt but it acts as a ph buffer, anti stress and supportive for treatments ur fish require. Am I mistaken for this not being white spot. Pretty sure carbon will needed to be removed when treating white spot it clearly state so.
Sounds like u have a bit of white spot. raise the temp slightly and treat with some white spot lotion, remove any carbon u have in your filter as it will defeat the object.
This should clear it up within a week.
Every time I add fish to my aquarium I always put in a touch of white spot fluid...

Right ok well sat watching it now it seems to have perked up at the minute I will keep u updated to see if the Oscar makes it over the next few weeks till I can aquire a larger tank for him
Well I'd thought that with the size of the tank but the Oscar is rather small I do intend on getting a larger tank for it after the holidays. It does seem to be feeding tho

Well I intend on getting someone to feed them but they not very reliable. I've herd people using these n coming hope to alot of deaths in their tank so kinda stuck between a rock n a hard place
