Thankyou for your advice. I got straight to work on it, changed and added a little extra rowaphos and changed carbon. I am going to do small regular water changes and will try to syphon some algae out. Hopefully get this under control.

Hi, tank has been running for about 6 weeks and this green sea has just gone mad. I hope it just means my tank is doing really well, but I have concerns that this may just take over. Do I leave it or cut it back? Any thoughts very welcome.

Thankyou for advice, I will be going this weekend to get some snails and shells for the crabs. I am showing a picture of my tank that is going blooming made. I just hope all this green is a good thing.

New to this forum, so will share what I have so far. Tank running for about 6 wks, live rock starter. Lots out of it, snails ( to small to know. what) at least 6 brittle stars, feather dusters ,5 I have seen so far , and more. Some I do not know and will post those but will show pics up to date...

Ok, this is growing on my LR, it does not move but has got bigger. It is pink, flat and has spines. I say spines not hairs as there is no movement even in the strong flow. I thought a sponge but with the growing spines now not sure at all. Any help would be great. I have tried to but it centre...
