Oh wow that's sweet looking! I gotta see what would be best, I really like cichlids but I think the person giving me the tank is giving me fish too... Some barbs and angel fish apparently... Idk what kind of barbs or angels but I guess I'm stuck? I don't wanna kill them cuz I don't like them...
Cichlids sound like a blast! Oscars are sweet but get hugeeeee haha I like variety so I'm thinking a bunch of colors but I want to swap out and get some black rocks so the colors show real bright! Suggestions on aquascape??
I am finally upgrading! From my 10 to a 55 gallon!!!!! Really don't know what to get... Cichlids?! Ahhh idk! Decisions and really want some advice, thanks so much guys!!!!
Here is a photo of the algae, I've been trying to keep the light off lately and haven't seen a crazy difference. Also, I have the 10i whisper filter for a 10 gallon tank which is what I do have. Let me know of there's anything else I can do.
It is cycled it's been about 3 weeks after the cycle process. They are fluorescent and the only bulbs I found to fit for the tank so I got them. Also I run them 12 hours sometimes 13 on the off day but in that range pretty consistently.
My tank is 10 gallons with cat Cory's, and 5 tetras. I have a 10 gallon filter they said would be sufficient, I only feed them once a day. It's extremely cloudy I changed the filter last week and the algae is only on the one side of the tank not the other! Extremely bizarre what should I do...
Neons are very different between each. You might buy strong ones or some very vulnerable or already have diseases, it's hit or miss. I personally stay away from them.
So they only hang around the bottom and do come up for food, whether it's flakes or freeze dried bloodworms. The go after the shrimp pellets for my Cory cats... I even see most eat flakes and spit them out... Sometimes they do swallow but it's getting rare. Better feeding options?
Neon tetras have been breeded in this hobby forever! They are very prone to disease I've noticed that also when I had them,,I would look another fish to put around your gourami. Very unhealthy neons in general
