Hey everyone my power just went out and I've never had this happen since I turned my tank into a reef! How long should I wait until I start getting worried about my corals and fish ?
i picked up 2 Koralia Power heads, a double pack of frozen mysis, and a double pack of frozen Blood Worms at Big Als in Newmarket all for "free" with gift cards from christmas. i got there right at 8 when it opened and it was packed with people.
My parents give me "the look" every time I share a new idea for a tank with them. My mom loves it, my dad not so much. Can't wait for my brother to move out and team up with my mom to make his room a fish room.
I put him in a separate tank and then the next day he died, 12 hours later the clown in my dt died too. Not sure what I did wrong ? Maybe they were sick?
Everyone was fine yesterday, but when I looked this morning my clownfish looked like it had skin peeling off of it. After watching the fish for quite some time I noticed my other clown attacking it. Is it sick or just hurt ?
My flame angel is still eating an still seems really active. The spot hasn't changed and its still just the one spot on the fin. I was reading about lymphocytosis, could it maybe be this ?

We're on a well out in the county, and we have a special tap that we drink from. But it would be too expensive to fill my tanks using that water because the filters and lights for it are super expensive
It's nitrates for sure , it's like 40-80 [hard to tell on API test kit] but I tested the water at work and it has hardly any, so I will probably just take a few jugs and fill them up next time I'm there.
Been really busy and didnt have time to check the thread. I have 48" T5-HO that runs usually 10 hrs a day. My nitrate are somewhere from 40-80 I have the API test kit also and I can't tell the difference on the card . And no test kit for phosphates
