    Help with Radion program

The Taos were running 100% on the blue channel and 75% on the white channel. I'm running the Radions on Radiant Color program template peaking at 83%. So far, so good! Sent from my iPhone6 Plus using Tapatalk

    Help with Radion program

I just switched to 2 XR30's. I have been running 2 165W LED's (Chinese brand) and my zoas had been thriving under them. I thought that would be too much light but they loved it. Sent from my iPhone6 Plus using Tapatalk

    Flame Angel reef safe?

Flame angel in my 75g mixed reef only goes after Xenia. Everything else is fine...elegance, duncan's, zoas, trumpets, plates riccordeas, monti, pipe organ, leather etc. Try to hide a piece of Xenia in there and it's gone in an hour. Sent from my iPhone6 using Tapatalk

    Sandsifting starfish?

I have had mine in my 75g for about 3yrs. Prior to that, had another in my 90g for 5 plus years. Opinions vary just as personal experiences vary with them. I have always kept a dsb in all my tanks so maybe that provides enough sustenance for the sand sifters. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium...

    Elegence coral

I have had mine for over a year and a half. It's the centerpiece of my tank (even though it's in the corner). Everyone that comes over comments on it. The color especially under the actinics is amazing. I made sure to research it well and even though it seemed difficult, I was willing to accept...

    Long T Anenome Dying???

Not sure why this happens to my LTA from time to time. As you, my parameters are good and stable, lighting unchanged. Mine will do that for a night or part of a day. I feel like I should almost dispose and then, right back to normal. Been in my tank for over a year.

    Ecoxotic Panorama Marine and Actinic

Has anyone used these fixtures yet? I just picked up 1 each of these as my T5 fixture was failing. Eco told me they are 52W each but read that they use 3W Crees powered down to 1W each. I have these over my 75 with mostly softies, LPS, an elegance and a LTA. It has been 2 weeks now. Riccordea...

    SolarExtreme T5 Fixture

The actinics failed last week after only about 5 months. Good news is that I won't have to replace the bulbs ant time soon as I learned my lesson and am going to LED's. LOL Light supported a LTA, elegance, duncan, trumpet, zoas, shrooms, plate, chalice, riccordea, favia, devils hand, acan. All...

    Briareum stechei eroding away

Can someone give me some advice on lighting or flow? All parameters are fine so I am not concerned about them. Can't think of anything else. Can you? First pic is day one. 2nd pic sort of looks like male pattern baldness LOL

    Duncan Coral Help

I rescaped my tank this past weekend to get my Duncan less light. He hated it. Got a little brown and partially closed. Moved him back up to near the top and he opened right back up and colored up well. I know they are supposed to like lower light and less flow. Mine is the opposite though!

    please ID worm

It will stay in the tank. I'm not sure how they reproduce but if you have just one and don't over feed your tank like crazy, as stated in earlier posts, this is a good member of your cuc. If you oversees your tank, I have seen threads on here where they get huge and then they might bean issue...

Please help ID slug looking thing

This has been cruising around the top of my rock scape for a few days now. Have been finding my frags up there all moved around and was blaming the hermits. But the last 2 frags that I moved back into place, had this thing underneath it. Not sure if it is ok in the tank or if I should try to...

How many T5's for a 4ft reef tank

I run a 4x54W on my 75. I keep all types of corals in there. Just have an understanding of light requirements for the different coral types and place them accordingly. Have plates, frogspawn, chalice, LTA, zoas, favia, acan, Duncan. I guess a lot of lower light corals but the LTA found his home...

    Quick question about clownfish...

I had 2 pair, different species in my 90 bow front. The Ocellaris pair were established in the tank. I bought a pair of pink anemone clowns and did not have an issue. The Ocellaris stayed in their area, left side of tank. The pinks stayed with their nem on the right side. I never witnessed any...
