Sorry to jump in but I highly advide u to syphon all or most of it grabbing it or netting it would break it down and worse things up.... in my case I had to reset the tank cleaning every inch but there are additives for it which would be cheaper add a pretty good amount of flow to the water and...

They go tru the sand eating the food living under it... They also eat frozen food like brine shrimp mine hid for 3 days now he swims all over the place

Those sexy shrimps r nice lol I bought me a polyp drag at petco and the guy didn't c the little guy while bagging it I guess lol I got it home ha Hope he makes sexy shrimps with the skunk shrimps ....( that even possible lol )

Lol yea he's pretty neat another plus is that by him doing that my sand don't get as dirty as it used to so that's a plus
