I had fancy gold fish for years and yes, they do get stringy long crap and bloat contributes to it.

Sounds like bloat! If you are loosing fish due to cycling, then why not wait out the cycling period and then get fish. If you have that many fancy fin gold fish I sure hope you have a big tank.

Can a 6 line wrassel and a yellow tail damsel mate? They have been doing the mate dance for days.

I try not to give into the need to feed. Lol I do a cube then wait a day and then do flake. Every other day. I still have a ton of worms. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

I feed my fish once every 2 days for salt and once every 3 days for fresh. I only feed 1 frozen cube of food. I have 5 small fish a crab and 3 turbo snails. Am I feeding to much?

No I did not see my scooter get grabbed by the crab but my kids said "scooter" was trying to get away. They saw it, I just fished out the body from the crabs claws. My star got badly injured and lost a leg and a few chips on its back before it deflated and died.

My hermit crab grabbed and killed my scooter blenny. I'm so sad, it was my favorite in the tank. The crab also took a chunk off my chocolate chip star. Should I get rid of this killer crab?

Yes they are bad at collecting waste. I clean it off every 2 weeks. It gets back to normal.

It started small now it's almost all the way through its leg and now another leg is starting. Is it sick?
