    Feather duster head came off

I have the following: Yellow tang; Foxface Lo; Blue damsel; Yellowtail damsel; 2 - clowns; 3- striped cardinals. I have never seen any of them picking at the feather duster, but God knows what goes on when I'm away! Do you see anything in the fish population that would raise a red flag as far...

    Candycane and Toadstool Leather sad

I have the same issue with a toadstool. A friend just gave me this nice toadstool specimen, and it just won't stand up. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/20226046/Toadstool%20sitting.JPG Thanks in advance!

    Feather duster head came off

I've checked the worm and it looks nicely lodged into its spot and healthy from all outward appearances. I'll be patient and look forward to Feather duster 2.0. Thanks again!

    Feather duster head came off

The head came off so clean, I had a feeling it was a natural thing. The water parameters are not ideal (nitrates pretty high - around 40 ppm) but everything in the tank is doing pretty well, anyway. I'll just leave the tube in place and monitor. Thanks for the tips, folks. Matt

    Feather duster head came off

I have a feather duster worm that has been acting normally, and has looked very healthy and happy. This morning it's head was detached and sitting on the bottom of the tank. WTH? I did not take a pic :( It was a very clean separation of the head, though. Will it grow a new head? Why did...

Compatibility question / Tang v. Foxface

They seem to be working something out. The FF still goes through rapid changes but seems to always cycle back to apparent "relaxed" condition. I'll attach a couple of photos. In the first one, you can see the FF and the Tang swimming in the same side of the tank in relative ease. Although...

Compatibility question / Tang v. Foxface

Thanks for the advice. Again, when I get home from work today, it will only then be 24 hours. I will monitor the Foxface health and the behavior generally. And yes, they are both the same color - I suppose that is also an aggravating factor. Thanks again, Matt :thanks:

Compatibility question / Tang v. Foxface

I bought a Foxface Lo (Siganus vulpinus) yesterday and I'm really concerned for the guy. He is getting mercilessly hassled by a yellow tang. The tang is about 3" and was the largest fish in my 70 gal mixed reef tank. (Other fish include 2 damsels, 1 clown, 1 strawberry pseudocromis, 3 striped...

New Member! Hey AA, what's up?

New member to the site. I'm joining to get some help with the occasional question and get a second opinion on some of the advice I get from the LFS. I have had two medium freshwater tanks for about 10 years. One with massive goldfish, one with misc. community fish (tetras, etc.) Goldfish...
