Agree with the last post, and we've noticed a difference in coloration based on the temperature of the tank. The bloodfins we had in a tank at 74 degrees didn't have nearly the bright colors of the bloodfins in our 55g at 80 degrees. Could just be coincidence though, what temp are you at?

It's actually the opposite, tall down face up. I'm pretty sure one of the females is pregnant but I saw both of them do it.I will keep an eye on it and try to post a pic of the pregnant one.

Anyone seen this before? They are still doing it.. putting themselves mouth up and letting themselves float for a second or two vertically. They only do it near the dalmation.

is there any websites or stores that sell aquarium driftwood? None my of LFS have it.. currently have some fake driftwood that I would love to replace :thanks:

Hi all.. I've had a group of black mollies (1M/2F) in my tank for a while now and the two females really have been the bosses off the tank. They were getting a bit territorial sometimes as well (I think one is currently preggo, distended belly) I've read that adding additional female mollies...

This was my inclination to wait it out but it can't hurt to ask, right? I will stay on top of the water changes! :fish2: If the tank is cycled and the LFS doesn't have any more of the bloodfins will tetras school with other tetras? Would a bloodfin tetra school with a cardinal tetra..etc...

My wife and I bought a 29G and we're very happy. We're both responsible and have been reading up wherever we can but I simply didn't have the patience for fishless cycling. We read up on the article on this site about fish-in cycling that recommended 1 fish/10g and not bigger than an inch or so...
