I mounted mine like this, its an old clothes rail cut up to suit. Then fixed to wall with conduit clips. Really frim hold! Just thought i put this up for some ideas for others took me a while to come up with something i like look of and did the job.
Took some advice a few weeks ago and invested in a taotronic unit. I have a 3ft x 16" x 16". What height above the water would you recomend i set the light at? Thanks

Not sure what wattage they are? Bought second hand so no paper work. But they are the latest ones so asuming they are 3 watt then i could perhaps scrap t8s???
Since this thread my 2 new aquaray 600 have arrived a marine white and a marine blue. Would this blue be actinic?? Would 2 blue t5ho and 2 white t5ho ok ?? Or could I get away with the t8s since the LEDs have gone in?? Thanks
I have a 160 litre reef tank, current has a blue and white t8 and a blue and a white aqua ray 600 LEDs. Would I be able to put 2 more led units in and scrap the t8s or do I need to add some t5s I'm wanting to keep a variety of corals ??? Help and advice please???

My tank is 900 long x 450wide and 450deep approx and is 160l with 2 x t8 marine blue and marine white. I want to keep a variety of corals were is best to place these and is 2 enough
