I decided that i'm gonna go with a planted tank. :flowers: My hood came with incandescent light bulbs, but I've read that a 15 watt fluorescent bulbs will work better with the plants I want to get. I'm also worried about how much heat they'll generate... Would any regular 15 watt fluorescent...

I'm thinking of getting one for my betta tank cuz i think they look pretty cute :) I just wanna know if there's anything I have to do to them before I add them in. I've read that I should squeeze them and rinse them but do I rinse them with tap water or with tank water?
