I was wondering how to tell if my yoyo is pregnant I have 3 of them two are slender and one has an enlarged belly

Just curious how do you know if a yoyo loach is pregnant? Are the egg layers or give birth to live ones? We have 3 and all were the same size now one looks much bigger in the belly.

I'm not sure on the type of algae it a brownish/black hair like but other than that I'm not sure

I believe I leave my lighting on to long its on from 7 am till 11 pm

I have playsand already but not real happy with it thinking about trying the black sand though

I have a 125 how much would I need for that

Where do you get the black blasting sand I've play sand and it seems like its always floating around

Thanks I was just wondering, I was unsure if it would effect the chemistry of the tank. so ill just continue to use tap water, I just assumed rain water would be better for them
