I've had these on my tank and they are copepods and the brown is diatoms its a kind of algae and the copepods are feeding off it when the diatoms are gone the copepods will too

Hello I am a 30 gal reef 2 t5 24 watt 1 pl bulb 18 watt 2 power heads . I brought a orange zoas and the rock it was on was infested with feathers and small white star fish and there was a little slug with a small shell I just wondered will they spread and will they harm anything the feathers...

Yes you could be right it's only been 5 months and I already have beautiful Colours of coralline algae but its being other run by green hair like you said it's just going through the motions

Thanks for all your feed back I've just brought some carbon reacting granules and some filter bags and I've put them in my filter at the top I hope this it's in a good place didn't know weather to put it in the middle of my filter sponges hopefully it does the trick

No it is for use in aquarium its marine blue and white and not for uv filtration it's not the best bulb to have but it will have to do for now just wondered how hot it gets before leaving it on ?

Well thanks for replies just have to keep an eye on the little guy I looked up rock anemone s and I does look similar but mine has more bubbles then tentacles and in the shop they were all the same Colour they have an orange under side if it is a rock anemone how big do wee think it will get
