Ones anyone know if emerald crabs give birth to live young? We just found a new little crab in my acropora, I swear I didn't buy it! Although I did get a new emerald crab a couple weeks ago. I've never had one before.

Are the maxpect razor lights Chinese? I've got one over my cube and I love them. I've only had them 2 months though... No issues. They were more reasonably priced, comparible to the t5s had before.

I buy water in town... 18 litre jugs. On my 50 gal I'd do about 1 jug a week on a water change. That's about 2.50 a week for tank water. Not always the most convienient but there are things higher on my 'to buy' list than a RO water unit.

I only use RO water, even to top off. I wouldn't take the chance of creating problems that could easily be avoided. Way too much money in the tank to loose it.

Yes! Definitely thanks! It's hard to know where to look when you don't know the name. I got some new coral today, I'm trying my first sps, acropora, and I got a lovely peachy colored chalice. The tank is looking great!

Sorry, dumb question, what is GFO? Also, I went from a canister filter to a sump. The guy who helped us with our tank suggested filling the canister with just live rock and running like that, let the live rock do it's job. Just an idea if you have one.
