I have 4 or 5 of the pictured speices in my tank. I trim of dead leaves up the stem and a few new plants have sprouted as you can see in the pic. Is this the correct way or cut the stem & re plant as they look bare in middle?
I never test my water, so i have no test kit? Always been consistent & no issues so never really felt the need to test. I did a 40% change today.
I have 2 gbr's. 1 male & 1 female. The male has chased her a bit lately. Reckon she has had enough?
My first tank i put the background on inside, worst idea ever. I have black which makes the tank look deeper & brings out colour in plants & fish.
The 3d backgrounds are cool but take a few inches out your tank remember & are expensive.
I would echo convicts statement that scapes are never finished. I fart arse about with mine all the time. I would trcommend trying to form some sort of cave. I have 2, one formed from driftwood and one with large marble rocks. It seperates groups of different fish & gives them their own territorys.
