Well I ham doing guppies but was suggested do only 3 since they breed like crazy

I think Ive decided to hold off on Gourami anyway..see how I like all the other fish and see what to do from there.

I am looking to do a 40 gallon breeder tank with low light live plants. Here is my stock list. 3 x Platy (xiphophorus maculatus) 3 x Guppy (Poecilia reticulate) 1 x Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) 1 x Dwarf Gourami (Colisa lalia) 6 x Albino Cory (Corydoras aeneus) Any suggestions...

Lol...I really dont want to give up limbs for sand so I am going with one of the hardware store options.

I guess it doesnt matter, I wouldnt want anything crazy. If I did want colored I would go for black maybe.

Howdy! I have had some experience with very basic tanks in the past, who know the ones all of us newbs have with a few basic fish and not much else in way of equipment. Alas those fish died quite quickly and I am here years later to try again with knowledge under my belt. I am thinking of...
