Hey, I am a little bigger than 49":lol::lol: Just my personal opinion but sharks in general should either be in the ocean or in large public displays.

I wouldn't be putting any sharks into a 6 footer.

I'm well regarded here in Australia for having extremely healthy specimens of fish! My corals on the other hand lol....

Yeah especially given their high mortality rate and even higher price here in Australia!! Anywhere from $500-$1000. I got lucky with a healthy specimen! Colouration and supplementing days where the sun isn't so.... sunny! I wouldn't run a tank solely on Sunlight. 1) I saved up the majority...

I have one of the safest of triggers though, the Blue Throat. I wouldn't risk something like a Clown etc lol.

Achilles is doing great. People tell me it is the healthiest specimen they have ever seen! There is one fish that gets the attention over it though and that's the big Sohal. I'll let you decide! Some pics I took today whilst bored. After uploading them I had realised I didn't clean the...

where do you keep your tank(s)

Other. Essentially mine is a room divider so it's supposed to be a "WALL" It separates the pool room from the kitchen/living spaces.

I did the stupidiest thing I am still regretting. I had a friend bug me and bug me that he wanted the Emperor, so I sold him for some big bucks. About 4 weeks later, he killed it. After 7 years of being in my tanks :banghead: I replaced the Pomacanthus with a Holacanthus though

A combination of things I would say: 1. Having a tank large enough that the fish can display some sort of natural behaviours & not stressing each other out. 2. Food - Lots of food, varied, multiple times per day 3. Fish Stocking - Buying fish that get along

    Yellow Tang tank requirements?

The minimum I would suggest is 4 foot in length. Make sure the aquascape is open to promote random swimming patterns. If it was to go into a 4'r I would ensure it is the only tang and possibly even only large fish. With all tangs though, the bigger the tank, the better.

    Will My Tangs Get Along

Every tang is different. You may have a nice sociable yellow tang but I may have a skitzo one that attacks everything. IMO the best thing to ensure a peaceful tank with tangs is to provide a tank that is suitable for them (as big as possible).

I am on the Gold Coast so missed both the flood and the cyclone :) Stand went straight onto the concrete floor and the total weight of the tank once in full swing was approved by the builders and engineers. If in doubt get it looked at ;) All good man! Missed both major natural disasters!
