Yea they do get a little bigger but they're really fun to watch and everyone always comments on them. I know theyre more of a schooling fish but I only have two and they do awesome without overpowering the tank. Im sure whatever u decide on though will look great :)
That sounds like a horrible first timer experience! Wow, but ok ill leave her in there for a few more days might go to a lfs and get some floating plants to try and help relax her a little more, thank you all for the help/suggestions ill keep you updated on what's going on :)
I just checked it out this morning it looks pretty good :) also checked on my platy and not even one little fry :( I would put her back in the big tank but I hav so many others in there I think the fry would all just get eaten right away that or id never be able to find them
That's awesome news I've had her for about a year now and this is the first patch im trying to save. I have her in the breeder box right now but she just seems really stressed I put a blanket over the top to try to help clam her but idk how well its working... how long can she stay in that...
She is massive lol bigger then most of my balloon mollies even... and I don't have a plan really, all I have is a breeder box (marina Hang on breeding box) and food for the little ones when they come. Anything else u suggest doing? im pretty excited this is my first time attempting to keep fry.
