    Blue Lobster

Mine was bright blue, but since his moult he's a more greeny blue with blue claws

    Blue Lobster

I have one of these guys, he's an absolute delight, full of personality. He's in a 5 gallon whilst he grows with 7 young platy fry at the moment. Watching him try to catch them is possibly the funniest thing I've seen in an aquarium other than my apple snail in my main tank crawling over the air...

    Fluvial Spec 5 Gallon

Yeah it seems seeing as though the heater only heats the water in that compartment which in turn heats the water flowing through the tube, you need to set it to about 32 degrees to hold a temperature in the tank between 22/23... Slowing the flow down has helped though. Might be better off...

    Fluvial Spec 5 Gallon

Maybe if I slow down the flow, the water will spend more time with the heater? Anyone got one?

    Fluvial Spec 5 Gallon

Has anyone else got one of these? I have a baby crayfish in one at the moment and I've housed a heater in the filter return compartment. It's not heating the full tank to the right temperature though, just that little compartment it's in. Help?

    Tropical Crayfish

Forgive my naivety, will one pellet a day be enough for the little guy?

    Tropical Crayfish

Is this photo good enough to ID him? He was sold as a blue lobster but from what I've read every blue crayfish is sold as that

    Tropical Crayfish

I'm guessing that's twice a day? Yesterday I dropped in a few flakes of tropical flake food and a mini algae wager - I'm guessing they're about half the size of a regular one - about 5mm in diameter, he's eaten the pellet but not the flakes so I guess that answers my question.

    Tropical Crayfish

Roughly 1.5 inches. Roughly how much should I be feeding him? I'm not really wanting to have to remove food every time to avoid stressing him but at the same time as he eats bits at a time it's hard to know how much to put in. He won't eat straight away as the food is out in

    Dead Guppy

Good point. I have 10 guppy fry growing up in a fry net at the moment, fingers crossed they'll be mostly females. Mr Guppy will have to keep it in his pants until they're old enough

    Dead Guppy

Hi Everyone, I awoke today to a a dead floating guppy, and I haven't got a clue what happened to her. It's a mixed aquarium, mollies, tetras couple of dwarf guaramis. But as far as guppies are concerned, there was only her and her male counterpart. I've not seen any disease indicators, I've...
