I had mine high in the tank in a place with very little water flow. Can beleive the difference after moving it lower to a place where it would get moderate water flow.

Ok, I thought I was told trumpet, and the pic was taken right after it was introduced to the tank, but either it really has not opened up much. Where should it be placed in the tank, low, high, middle?

Where did you get the LR and LS? How big is the tank?

I don't think Frag 02 is Xenia (bad picture), I have some Xenia in my tank and one pulsates. If the other one does I've missed it. I think it is some kind of taod stool, but not sure. When it retracts the arms completely disappear. My Xenia just curls up on itself.

Heres the last one, it didn't make it the first go around. Does not look it in the picture, but it is pink

Did some horse trading and ended up with 6 nice frags. Trouble is I'm not sure what 4 of them are. I can find corals that kind of look similar, but not an exact match. Thanks for the help and Happy Easter!

No it stays pretty well hidden, I will watch try and get a better photo and post here or create a new post depending on the time frame. thanks for the help

From the pics I don't thing that's it (Porcelain) . On the back of the claws it's jagged not smooth. Wish it would come out so I could get a real good look. Claws are small and I have seen it picking hair alagee from in and around plops. No problem threadjacking helps us all learn

I think your right if your talking about endangered species, which some corals may be, especially in the PI, where fishermen use dynamite to increase the catch.. Ive decided against trying to bring any back mostly because I'm not sure they would survive the trip. I never even considered it...

My local LFS has suggested that I do a 10% weekly water change. Your thoughts?

Tank has only been setup for a month. Water parameters are NH3 =0, NO2 =0, NO3 =0, PH= 8.4 Salinity 1.023. Didn't have any trouble with algae until I installed the new light. Algae is brown and pretty much covers all 4 sides and some on the sand as well

My wife is in the Philippines. I'm tempted to have her try and bring some corals back. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it legal?
