    Your were more focus on snails and loss of power on the pump side. My point was siphon lost due to power going on out and the restart of the siphon.:rolleyes:

    I'm with doing the overflow box- if you are not prefilter box, siphon box, overflow box, siphon overflow, Eurobrace, Euro-brace, Euro-tank Check craigslist, sometimes you run into some of these items for cheap-also look at: For protein skimmer take a look at Protein Skimmer

    I will agree to all the comments above. My female Kenyi is more aggressive then the male, but both are in the same level. My BlueBerry ob zebra and Red top trewavasae keeps them in check all the time.

    Corrrect, but you dont need to use the faucet if you have near by window as gravity does the work for ya. The bigger the hose the faster the drain. BBradbury, i use seachem safe as well...one just came in today. It's more concentrated than prime.

    Their aggression are mild peaceful. I will say go big you won't regret . If you can have an overflow it will be a plus with a sump. Filter changes will be easy and added water volume is a plus. Will water changes be easy down there? Access to do PWC every week or 2 weeks?
