Ok. With my baby guppies I was able to tell in 2 months from their color and body shape. Was looking at mollies n they all have the same round belly none slender. But this is my 1st time with mollies n babies.

Just turned 5 weeks but pretty big. Already getting their spots.

Well the babies are doing good lost a few. Have 63 now. I was looking at their body and the anal fin and I'm 99% sure I don't have a single male Molly fry. Can that really happen??

Ok ill look into it thank you. I just put the breeder in my baby tank so if any get out again won't be an issue.

So I got a 3way breeder from petco since I don't have a lfs and it worked great when my Molly popped. Well I was in shower when my guppy was having hers and the baby fry got out. I noticed a few in the tank and was being chased and eaten by my other fish. Is there a better breeder anyone knows...

Lol that's all I can think of Ty. I have 2 55g one for males n one for females. I had her n a breeder. After she had then I took the babies out 1 by1 into my 30g baby tank. It took awhile to catch n count them I marked on paper where I was at or I would have forgot when I was trying to catch them

So pretty much like guppies. Lol I was just wonder bc I only have one female n she was ready to pop when I got her. She had 73 but I'm down to 63 now n they are starting to get color but still small. Can a moon tale Molly have babies that aren't or that are a solid color? Ik guppies can give...

I know it's been awhile since I posted about the babies. Well somehow I ended up with 10 when I thought I saved 9. The little guy stayed hidden in my big tank so well no one seen it or even the other fish so I say bravo lil man. I'm working on getting pics of them now.

How soon can you tell a baby Molly gender and what's the difference between male n female beside the fin??? Ty for help

Only fish store I have is petco and pet smart. And i been searching and been up to 2 hrs away from home for a Lfs and haven't found one.

I have 2 55g not very many in the tank so going to kept some for each then my aunt is setting up a tank so I'm going to give some to her and then my cuz and a close friend of ours that is starting a 75g!!!

She must had the babies last night! I was asleep tears.? Haven't got a count yet; will try when I get home from work!!!! I was worried bc I had a big snow storm where I wasn't home for 2 days n power was out at my house for 11 hrs. But all my fish are fine and I was worried she have the babies...

I did the temp up 2 and I don't do my water changes till Friday and with me having other fish just started showing so I want to keep on same schedule.

She doesn't seem to mind it. She very still all nightly at night. I hate trying to guess too lol. My 1st time breeding mollies even tho I got her already prego. Only places I have to go for my fish is pet smart or petco. We don't have any local pet shops even an hr away. Tear.

I just got her today knowing she if going to have fry. Molly!! I've been breeding guppies but this is my 1st Molly that is prego. But do you have any idea how far she might be? She looks ready to pop n I went ahead n put her in the breeder.

Thanks I think? Yea I been feeding them frozen food n flakes n have them in a 29g tank all to themselves. Reason pix of them is in the breeder is bc I'm cleaning thier tank so I have them n my 55g! Hoping soon ill be able to put them n the 55g!!
