    Emporer question.

Yeah I was thinking of the AquaClear but thought the Bio wheel might have an advantage over it. Will look into it more. Thanks.

    Emporer question.

Thanks for the response, have to figure out how to move the tank out another inch now. How do you like the filter?

    Emporer question.

Does anyone know if the emporer 280 will fit a tank to wall clearance of 4 inches? I can't find any measurements for it. :thanks:

Has anyone put bamboo in their tanks, and if so is it completely submerged?

I am very impatient when it comes to adding new fish. I'm sure I could do better. Just wondering what techniques others are using. :fish1:

    Endless Ocean-Blue World

Yea the Amazon is cool, there's Redtail catfish, Gars, Arawanas, etc. Would love to have a tank big enough for those.

    filters...bio wheel or aqua clear???

WOW, that is cool. What is the third light towards the front? I am a big fan of biowheels, mine have been going for 5 years and no problems as long as you keep the spray bars clean. Great pics. Thanks

    Endless Ocean-Blue World

There are a ton of missions and objectives that you can accept or ignore or go back to later and at the same time can just swim around if you want to. It's for the most time up to you. There is a main story line to go thru, but it's at your own pace and when you finish the story which doesn't...

    Endless Ocean-Blue World

For 30 bucks it's well worth it and the fish and creatures are like being there. I can't say enough, like I said I'm an addict.

    Endless Ocean-Blue World

Going by your picture you are a diver, if that's the case I'm sure you will love it. That's what the game is all about and the best part besides being relaxing is you can't die or be hurt. No worries.

Has anyone played this WII game? IMO it is beyond awesome, I'm completely addicted. So far I have about 200 hours into it. Yes I have no life. :)

    Water Changes: A PITA.

My tap water is not safe so I guess with the Python you have to condition the water in the tank instead of a bucket right? Also will it condition it quickley enough as to not hurt or stress the fish?

    filters...bio wheel or aqua clear???

Sorry to hear about bad marineland experience. I've never had a problem with them yet. Also the Magnum 350 does not require carbon but it is an option.

    filters...bio wheel or aqua clear???

I've used both. I prefer the biowheel. I have been using a marineland canister filter with dual biowheels for 5 years and it has been fantastic. You dont need to replace the biowheels unless they are physically damaged, mine are still the originals. If you replace them then you lose all the good...

    new canister filter

I have been using a Marineland Magnum 350 with dual biowheels for 5 years and it works great and is vitually silent. You can't hear it unless you open the door.

    Filter noise...

I use a Magnum 350 with a dual biowheel and it is totaly silent and works to perfection. Just my opinion. Thanks

    Aggressive Swords ?

That is something I have forgot. I was trying to keep the bioload low. The Orandas have very beautiful flowing fins and that is a concern, but it seems the Swords are trying to stake a terrirtory. Maybe she is expecting but I doubt it. Thanks for your response.

    Aggressive Swords ?

I have had Swords on and off for over 20 years and they have always been calm. My 30 Gal. tank now has only 2 red capped Orandas. Today I added 1 male and 1 female Sword. The male Sword is going after the Orandas fairly aggressivly and I'm quite concerned. I have never seen this behavior before...

Sorry forgot the decimal, it's .6 ppm. The fish are acting fine, nobody's jumping or scraping, they seem quite happy. I can't find anything that says exp. or sell by date. Thanks for responding.
