So today was about beautiful babies! I bought some baby dwarf tears and 5 baby angels! 1 yellow, white, silver, black and black w silver stripes. They are all about the size of a nickel. I'll get some pics up in the afternoon.

Just received the snails, put them in my tank before getting ready for work, before leaving it looked like they were all ready to attack my dirty tank! Thank you. As for anyone else thinking of ordering but unsure, order and you'll spend 70$ less than if you went through a retailer.

I got a co2 tank for my bday, all i have to do is fill it and connect it and I'm golden.

So I was able to pull up the java ferns enough to expose the rhizomes and keep the roots rooted in the substrate. I'll keep their progress updated.

Oh ok so I really screwed up. I'll replant those tomorrow, also the hair grass has spread by 2"!

They are in good light and the roots are buried in the fluorite substrate.

Doing some maintenance: wc, cleaning the outside back of glass and trimming background to fit better. All the plants are doing well and fish couldn't be happier.

I have the penguin bio-wheel 200. I just added a second filter in there. Aren't you suppose to change them out, and how often do you do that? The one i have has the activated carbon attached.
