I have several hundred white spots growing on my aquarium glass. Wondering if this could be the start of coraline growth or should I scrape it off?? they are fairly hard to get off? any ideas on what this could be???

I'm on my second container of Joe's Juice and the just keep comming back, the juice works, but I'm just looking for a more perminant solution. I also am aware of camel shrimp and am positive that all of my shrimp are true peppermints. Should I try to starve them?
I have 5 peppermint shrimp in my tank for about 2 months now and not one of them will eat aptasia. All of my aptasia are very small, less than a quater inch long and very thin. I just don't get it. Any suggestions?

I have tiny little white (the size of a pencil tip) spider looking things in clusters of about 100 or so sticking to my glass directly in front of my skimmer discharge. As far as I can tell they are not moving. What are these things and are they bad????

I used a phosphate absorber called phos-X and siphened out as much as I could. Also, I stopped using my light for about 3 weeks and added a dozen cortez crabs, by no means an easy thing to get rid of....
Everything said here seems accurate IME as I have been cleaning all of mine off and it seems that there is a very short break in period (can be about 5-10 min)

I just rid my tank of nasty green hair algae and want to know how many hours per day I should be running my lights to be sufficient for coralline algae growth but not enough for crazy bad algae blooms. Anyone? Anyone?

I have a ton of green hair and some black algae growing in my sand and all over my rocks, even my hermit crabs are covered in it. Anything I can do to keep this stuff in check??

I've worked out the formulas for flow rate through a 9W sterilizer and found that my sterilizer will be 99% effective with a flow rate of 45-55gph. That rate will turn my tank about 2.5 times a day. Is that sufficient?
