Hi all! I have heard from several sources that skunk loaches are really good snail control. I would love the communities thoughts on this.

Best loach for an MTS infestation. I love the clowns but they will outgrow my 55g. I could rehome them, but I hate that. Any good smaller loaches I can get to do the trick? I am pretty sure these nasty snails hitched a ride on a plant somewhere down the line. Need a good and deadly remedy...LOL...

Hi y'all....quick question about some of my plants. I have noticed that a few have some serious holes in their leaves. I have read that this is a deficiency so what do I do to help with the plants. Any good fert ideas to help them look better? The fish are eating them and I don't have a snail issue.

I have had a blow up of snails. Not pond snails that come with the live plants but another breed I haven't had before. Their shells look like cones. And I found one awhile back but now I have an invasion! I have loaches that ate the pond nails but these guys hide deep in the gravel and come out...

Hi all....I was wondering how much of a change in the PH do rocks in a tank make. I was thinking of putting several pieces of Yavapai Tri-Color Stack Stone in for my Yo Yo Loaches. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.:thanks:

:banghead: Hey everybody....I have a pond snail problem and I am going to war on these things. I want to get a few yo yo loaches. I have a 75 gallon lightly planted with driftwood. My concern is I do have 2 good sized tiger nerites. Will the yo yos try to make escargot outta them?

Hi all....I have a nicely planted 55g. I feed it flourish excel on a regular basis. They plants are growing nicely, but I have noticed holes on several leaves. What is causing this? Is there a lack of some fert that I am not applying?:thanks: for your help.

Ok...now that my other post was answered, I now need to know what a good filtration system would be for my COMING SOON discus tank. It is a 75 gal. Planted and full of root driftwood. I know they don't like currents so I need a good filter (s) that are powerful but don't create a tsunami.

Hey y'all....gotta a new 75 gal set up from a client of mine. It came with a Fluval 405 canister filter. I have not had a canister for years. Is this a good filter for this tank?

Good day everybody. I have 5 tiger nerites in my 55 gal planted tank and it looks like they are laying eggs! There are clumps of little white dots on the glass, driftwood, heater filter intakes....u name it...lol. I have never had these guys before and got them because of their algae grubbing...

Need some good input.....I have 7 Tiger Nerites in my tank.....my question is...do Nerites lay EGGS in freshwater tanks? These white dots are where this nerite just was. And I have a few other areas in my tank just like this white group of something. This didn't start happening till I added them...
