    Wet/Dry help

Lando, I was looking at the pics of your sump set up in your gallery. I have a similar wet dry and plan on replacing the bioballs with LR rubble. The only question I have now is how do you clean the blue square foam filter in your sump, that your LR rubble is next to and on top of? I would...

What is the best method removing mantis shrimp etc. from LR?

Not real loud. I can hear it pretty much from anywhere in the room where my tank is located, but not outside of that room. I sounds about like some one popping a knuckle, except that the sound has a little more of a metallic quality to it. I guess will order a trap and go to work.

    Cleanup crew / bioload question

Thanks for the replies! I see a few online places that sell clean up crew packages. These packages are much cheaper than what I would pay at my lfs buying the crew individuallly. So after my tank (60 gal hex, (I know its not the best for saltwater, but it is what I have to work with right...

    Cleanup crew / bioload question

Does the addition of a clean up crew (mainly crabs and snails) add to the bioload. How about the addition of a couple of cleaner shrimp? Do they add to the bioload. Thanks in advance for your replies.
