    if thats the case i would do a well planted tank with some tetras, barbs and other grouping fish, maybe a cleaner. i love getting new tanks, it's like an empty canvas. good luck

    they can get to 1' 6" doesn't happen very often, and it takes a long time. it's something you have to plan for, there just my favotire freshwater fish and could possibly encourage you to get a bigger tank in a year or so, you'd have to if you planned on keeping em.

    thats pretty sick, i just happened to catch this post. in one of my first tanks i had like 5 of them. i knew they weren't naturally colored that way but i never took the time to look into it. that link in the 1st page of posts was extremely informative. congrats on the happy paint free fish
