I suppose I could try it out. The Aqueon is LOUD. Like, louder then it should be. I suppose the worst that can happen is that it'll be as loud as the Aqueuon and I can replace it in a few months with a canister if I'm not happy.

How big is your AC? The one I got is the 110. Right now I'm planning to use it to replace a noisy Aquaclear 55/75, but since it's a bigger I'm wondering if it's going to end up being just as loud anyways.
