Thanks. The wall color was a compromise with my 14 year old daughter. She's very creative. I'm going to let her paint a "mural" on the wall. She wants to paint a diver and numerous fish.

Here are some shots of the plumbing. I will be drilling an air vent in the top of the return line. When I want to drain from the tank, I'll simply plug that hole so that I won't loose siphon when it gets below that level.

I love Neon Tetras. However, my Pictus cat already ate them:( Of course, the dynamics will all be different in this much larger tank.

Everything I read pointed to that being a sump setup only. I wanted to go with a canister. I'm still going to use the bulkheads, just with stand pipes. Since I already have the holes, I figured it would make a cleaner installation. The back of the tank will be black, as well as the stand pipes.

Somehow, I don't think that fits in with "lots of fish":)

I'm taking a new look at this. We don't have to move all of our fish from the 20G they're currently in. I'm open to suggestions. I'm interested in color most of all. I want some decent sized fish, but also want some schooling fish. I like a lot of fish and don't mind pushing the population...
