    thanks for the feed back. I watched a couple of videos on limpets. Maybe. I will continue research. I have not found them to be harmful.

    seed shrimp what are seed shrimp? where do they come from. I have no shrimp in tanks that have these critters.

    have white oval, no bigger than 1mm snail like, but not a snail. No discernible head no opening almost like a tiny barnacle but smooth. They do not get bigger. I have freshwater tanks. They are on plants, wood, rocks and glass. any ideas?
