    It is definitely aptasia. You need to very cautious in how you go about taking care of the problem. If you can remove from the tank whatever it is attached to that will be your best bet.     Have you checked your phosphate levels? Keep in mind that even small Triggers produce a lot of waste. I would he concerned with your nitrate and phosphate levels. If you have elevated phosphate levels you should be running phosgard to reduce levels. What is your water change schedule?

    Upgrading from t5's to LEDs

    Welcome to the LED club. I switched about a month ago and had some coral issues. My suggestion is to run the blue and white at 40% if that is as low as you can go. Every two weeks kick it up about 10-15%. better to be safe. The par change is hard on the corals.

    Cynobacteria

    I recently had a small amount growing in my DT. Went to the LFS and they said try Chemiclean. You run it thru your system for 48 hours and then do a 20% water change. Worked great. Depending on how bad it is, you could do a second dosage within a couple of weeks. Great stuff and no ill effects...
